We specialise in developing bespoke workshops and talks for specific audiences and to meet specific objectives. These range from fun craft workshops to support wellbeing to workshops and talks to meet specific curricular or cross curricular objectives or to teach specialised skills.

‘Beneath The Surface’ Presenetation on the history of Margate followed by a guided walk from Walpole Bay Hotel to the Turner Contemporary plus outdoor sketching and inspiration gathering to inspire further project development in school

Talks

Artist talk
We've previously delivered workshops and talks in a range of educational settings to suit different curricular or cross-curricular objectives. Talks are usually delivered by Kirsty Kennedy, local artist and founder of Create Happy.
The content could include a case study, environmental influences/focus artist methods and how to be inspired or have an artrepreneur focus.

Margate 'beneath the surface'
This project has run with primary and secondary age schoolchildren. It commences with a presentation on the history on Margate, then a trip/guided walk from Walpole Bay to The Turner Contemporary, plus outdoor or gallery sketching...
The trip can link with history, geology and art.

We run a range of creative workshops for people of all ages and abilities.
These are tailored for different audiences to meet particular objectives including curricular objective and can be run in a range of settings.

Group projects
Looking for a permanent art piece for your school and want to involve children in the making? We can facilitate a range of art projects which can either be long-standing and collaborative pieces such as ceramic or mosaic or temporal such as sculptures. Creative Enterprise
Enterprise workshops are led by Artpreneur Kirsty Kenendy and include topics such as Marketing (promotion, pricing, costing, and distribution), Intellectual Property and Basic Accounting/Self Employment

Art Awards are a recognised qualification that inspire young people to grow their arts and leadership talents. These can be run within schools or community groups
